The Jr. Longhorns Leadership Huddle, on behalf of the The Junior Longhorns Football Program and our parent volunteers are pleased to offer our fellow Park Rock Football teams an opportunity to participate in the 2011 Parkway West Jr. Longhorns “Big Fat Jamboree” for grade levels 6th-7th- 8^th.  A 5th grade division will be held if there is enough interest.

The Jr. Longhorn Jamboree will be tentatively held at the Parkway West High School turf stadium on Saturday, August 27^th, 2011. Kick off for the event is scheduled for 9:30 AM. This is your chance to be a part of the excitement with an atmosphere that celebrates fellowship, sport and football.

Please note the following:

·         The registration is 250.00 per team per grade level.

·         Registered status is applied to your team, upon receiving your electronic payment via the Jr. Longhorn Web Site.

·         There will be a minimum of three 25 minutes half's for all participants in the jamboree.

·         All teams must warm-up on the upper practice field .. No one is permitted on the Jr. Longhorn game field prior to KO.

·         Please instill upon all players, spectators and family members, this is a community oriented event.

·         Public Address for broadcasting and calling the games.

·         Certified Missouri Officials will be on our fields

·         There will be Kettle Korn, Frozen Custard and full concessions offering our mouth watering Longhorn BBQ.

This event is open to all Jr. Programs regardless of private or public affiliations

However, teams must meet the appropriate guidelines, Teams with 6^th-7^th or 8^th grades may register.

Preference will be given to teams that register across all grade levels 6^th through 8^th.

Solo teams are allowed as long as space permits, this is a first paid, first served event, register your group ASAP.
