2011 Calendar of Events

       All times are tentative unless they are in BLUE.

MARCH 3, 7pm – Registration for grades 3-12 at North GYM

$275 Registration Fee until 6/1, $295 after 6/1.

$35 Jersey Fee (8th grade only, optional)

$85 VELOCITY SAC Camp

$25 Jr. Longhorn Mini-Camp

APRIL 12, 14 & 16 – Flag Football Skills Camp run by ELITE Football Academy

APRIL 16 thru MAY 7 – Saturday Spring Flag Football League for grades 3-7.

APRIL 19, 6:30 to 8:30pm – Equipment fitting PW Middle School Cafeteria 4th & 5th grades

APRIL 21, 6:30 to 8:30pm – Equipment fitting PWMS Cafeteria Makeup

MAY 25 thru 27, 4 to 5:45pm – Parkway West Summer Football Camp grades 4 – 8 put on by the High School football staff.

JUNE 1 thru JULY 21 – Longhorn Power by Parkway West Coaches

When: Mon, Wed, Thurs    6:45 to 8:45am grades 10-12

                                        9:00 to 11:00am grades 7-9

Where:  Parkway West High School

Cost:  $100 (20 sessions @ $5 per session, no class on July 12, 14, 15)

JUNE 14 thru JULY 26 – ELITE Football Academy Speed, Agility & Conditioning (SAC) camp.

When:  Tues. and Thurs (12 sessions over 6 weeks)

Where:  Parkway West High School Track

 

JUNE 18 thru JULY 16, 9 to 11am – Saturday Skills Camp @ Straub Field next to PWHS track

 

JULY 16 – Equipment Handout @ A Storage Inn, Weidman & Manchester.

($100 equipment deposit – PAID at & req’d before equipment handout.) 


9:00am= 3rd grade,

9:30am = 4th grade,

10:00am = 5th grade,

11:00am = 6th grade,

12:30pm = 7th grade,

1:30pm = 8th grade


 

AUGUST 1 thru 12 – Jr. Longhorn STAMPEDE.  First week of practice goes every night until school starts

 

AUGUST 13 – Family Fun day BBQ & Scrimmages & Pictures (?)

 

AUGUST 16 – School starts for Parkway District.  Practice will be 3 nights per week.  Days determined by Head Coach.

 

AUGUST 23, 30 – Scrimmage, Jamboree, or other pre-season games possible.

 

GAME SCHEDULES – Saturday morning.  Home games played at West Middle.

First game is Sept. 4.  8:00am 6th/9:45am 7th/11:00pm 8th Times for later games are approximate.  4th & 5th TBA
